About
We are building the operating system for the home.
Most of us own the largest and most complex asset of our lives without an instruction manual, a record book, or a plan. Homestead is the layer that fixes that.

Your home has hundreds of components and a few that really matter: the roof over your head, the HVAC keeping you comfortable, the water heater you only think about when it fails. Every one of them has an age, a lifespan, and a story. Today, that story lives in folders, glove boxes, and group chats with your spouse.
We think it should live somewhere better. A single record that knows what you own, what it needs, and what it will cost. A score that tells you how the whole thing is holding up. A plan that starts before something breaks.
That record should travel with the home. When you sell, the next owner inherits a maintained property with a memory, not a question mark. That is good for buyers, sellers, lenders, inspectors, and the trades that keep these homes standing.
We are starting with homeowners because they are the source of truth, and because they deserve a better tool. We are building toward a network where every home has a Home Health Score, and every trustworthy pro can find the homes that need them most.
How we work
Four principles that decide everything.
01
The homeowner owns their data
Your home record belongs to you. We do not sell it. It transfers with the home when you choose.
02
Recommendations are earned
Pros qualify for placement by being verified and rated. They do not buy their way to the top of a list a homeowner trusts.
03
The score is honest
We do not soften the number to be friendly. A score you can trust is more useful than a score that flatters you.
04
Free for the people who need it most
The core of Homestead is free for homeowners. That is non negotiable.
